- First things first, clean both your men's hair wig and natural hair with a mild shampoo. Make sure they're completely dry before proceeding.
- Next, dab some 99% Alcohol on both your scalp and the wig’s base. This step is key for a secure bond.
- Wait for the alcohol to evaporate completely.
- Then, apply a scalp protector to boost the bond strength and guard your skin against irritation.
Applying the Wig Tape:
- Carefully unroll the wig tape and cut a strip of the desired length.
- When applying, keep the sticky side facing the wig. Try not to touch the adhesive so it stays clean and effective.
- Place the cut strip on the targeted area of the wig.
- Repeat the process until you've taped all the necessary areas.
- When you’re ready to wear the wig, gently remove the remaining protective layer on the tape.
- Now, align the wig on your scalp and press down gently but firmly, ensuring the wig stays in place without shifting.
